OLLI’s More Than a Month programs address issues of race and inclusion locally and nationally, with the understanding that we want to address these issues more than once a month.
On Friday, April 6, 2018 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. the Rosenwald Film will be shown with a follow-up discussion by Charity Ray, Fatimah Shabazz, Oralene Simmons, and Omar McClain. The program takes place in the Manheimer Room of UNCA’s Reuter Center. Come attend, no reservation is required.
Julius Rosenwald’s great, great granddaughter, Helen Ann Hess, and her husband, Craig Kaplan, will be attending the program! They will be visiting the Mars Hill Rosenwald School on Saturday, April 7 at 10 a.m.
Alumni and friends should meet at the school to greet her. She has never seen a Rosenwald School before! Come be with us and bring a friend.
