The Friends of the Mars Hill Rosenwald School will have a table at the Heritage Festival. Stop by to share your stories, photos, or other memorabilia.
An array of arts and crafts, along with many other locally produced products will be sold by artists, farmers and artisans from all over the county. The festival takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Local musicians will perform all day on campus. Food booths will offer an array of lunch selections. Baked goods, candy and drinks are also available for all to enjoy.
With more than 75 vendors, the festival provides an excellent opportunity to purchase affordable holiday and birthday gifts. Pottery, jewelry, handmade scarves and hats, wooden sculptures, painted gourds, and local honey are some of the favorite items that will be available.

We’re expecting a beautiful, warm fall day, so come on out. Have dinner at one of our wonderful local restaurants and stick around for the Bascom Lamar Lunsford Festival, starting at 7 p.m. at Moore Auditorium on the Mars Hill College campus. There, you’ll find more of our homegrown talent, and a celebration of our local music and dance heritage.
