Exterior Doors Stained

Jennifer Cathey, Restoration Specialist, worked with Dan Slagle to identify the correct color stain for the school’s exterior doors. Dan shared documentary photos and wood samples with Jennifer. They refined the exterior door color selection and talked about other interior finishes. They will continue to work on identifying interior colors and materials. These photos are from a Rosenwald school located in Maryland, the Pleasant View Historic Site in Montgomery County. Preservation Maryland is currently assisting the Quince Orchard community with strategic visioning for the Pleasant View Historic Site in Montgomery County.
